الصوت في رأسك ليس صوتك!

الصوت في رأسك ليس صوتك!

Have you ever felt like the thoughts in your mind never stop?

And that many of those thoughts are not even kind?

Some keep pulling you back into the past—replaying moments with regret, guilt, and endless "I should have done this differently."

Others rush into the future, imagining what you will say or do if the same painful situations happen again.

Do you sometimes think harshly about yourself?

Or about the people around you?

Have you ever felt ashamed of some of the thoughts that pass through your mind?

Or simply exhausted from thinking so much?

"Even though I didn't do much today, I feel completely exhausted. It's not because of what I did—it's because my mind never stops thinking. I just can't seem to quiet it."

This is what one of the women in my Personal Coaching Program shared with me.

But what if I told you...

The voice inside your head is not your true voice.

What if I told you that it does not define you, nor does it represent who you truly are?

It is simply the voice of your thinking mind.

Your soul speaks differently.

And what if I told you that you can gently quiet that voice...

Slow those thoughts down...

And begin to truly live in the present again?

This is not wishful thinking.

It is a real transformation that is possible.

Years ago, I went through a very difficult experience.

The situation eventually ended...

But something inside me had changed.

I had lost my sense of peace.

I had lost my ability to enjoy the present moment.

For weeks...

Then months...

I lived that way.

Later, I discovered that my mind had entered a state called rumination—replaying the past over and over as if it were still happening.

One of the hidden signs of emotional trauma.

For a long time, I believed trauma only happened after wars or unimaginable tragedies.

But life taught me something very different.

Sometimes trauma begins simply because our mind was never prepared for what happened.

As Dr. Gabor Maté beautifully says:

"Trauma is not what happened to you. Trauma is what happened inside you."

And what happens inside each of us is deeply personal.

The same experience may deeply wound one person...

While another walks through it with little impact.

But emotional pain often leaves people saying:

"I don't recognize myself anymore."

"I'm not the person I used to be."

"I miss who I was."

These words are more common than we realize.

And sadly, many people slowly accept this version of themselves as if nothing can ever change.

But it can.

Here is one simple practice that gently helped me find my way back to myself.

Treat the beginning of each day as the beginning of a new life.

Treat the end of each day as the end of that life.

Release expectations.

Welcome the day exactly as it comes.

Then make sure every single day includes these four simple acts:

A spiritual act.

Spend quiet time with Allah through prayer, remembrance, reading the Qur'an, or any act of worship that belongs only to you and Him.

Your own sacred space.

A physical act.

Walk.

Swim.

Nourish your body with good food.

Exercise.

Enjoy a sauna.

Take a cold plunge.

Care for the body that lovingly carries your soul.

A learning act.

Nourish your heart and mind with knowledge that helps you grow.

For example, you can join Reham Diva, my online platform for femininity and self-love, where more than a thousand women are already walking this journey together. 🥰

Listen to one lesson each day, and join the Diva Training Program running from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2027.

One day at a time, you'll cultivate greater self-love, embrace your feminine essence, and create a beautiful transformation in both your personality and your life. ✨

A joyful act.

Laugh.

Really laugh.

Just laugh.

Choose light over heaviness.

Watch something that makes your heart smile.

Spend time with people who bring warmth and happiness into your life.

When the day ends...

Let it end.

Don't carry it into tomorrow.

Tomorrow is not a continuation.

It is a new beginning.

A new life.

This simple practice gently calms the mind...

Softens anxiety...

And helps you return to the beauty of the present moment.

Today, by the grace of Allah, my heart is peaceful again.

I am healthier.

Stronger.

More myself than ever before.

And with all my heart, I pray that you, too, find your way back to yourself.

I'll leave you with my audiobook, Your Heart Knows, where I share more about listening to the voice of the heart and gently quieting the mind.
